ABOUT THE EDUCATION STATION

Lynne and David Pfeil have owned and operated the Education Station in Brevard County, Florida since 1984. After teaching elementary school for several years in the Middle East, they returned to the United States and found a shortage of jobs available.

They explored several business options and opened their first store in Rockledge in September of 1984. They took turns running that store while the other had a "real" job. They later opened a second store in Melbourne in 1988. They have missed some aspects of teaching, but have enjoyed serving the community in an educational support position.

The Education Station began primarily as a teacher supply store, but has expanded over the years to include materials for parents, pre-schools, home-school families, churches, and more. The store has a large selection of books, games, manipulatives, and classroom decorations.

When you visit the Education Station, you'll be free to browse at your leisure. However, if you need help, Lynne and David are happy to show you products that will meet your needs. They can also special-order items for you. They also provide a laminating service with the best prices in the county.
